Terms of Service
These terms are the deal between you and offcard. They are written to be read, not skimmed: every section starts with the one sentence that matters, then the detail.

01
What offcard is
In shortA technology platform, not a bank.
offcard is a software platform. We give you a dashboard to fund a USD balance with cryptocurrency, to buy and manage Visa virtual cards, and to send your balance on to a bank account. The cards themselves are issued by licensed partners who are principal members of the Visa network, and bank payouts are executed by licensed payment institutions.
We do not hold your cryptocurrency. A deposit is converted to US dollars by our payment processor at the moment it is confirmed, and from then on your balance is a USD figure. We are not a bank, we do not pay interest, and balances are not deposit-insured.
02
No identity verification
In shortWe do not ask who you are. You are still responsible for what you do.
You open an account with an email address. We do not request identity documents, proof of address, selfies or tax numbers, and we do not build a profile of you from other sources.
That is a deliberate choice, and it comes with a condition: you use the service only for lawful purposes in your own jurisdiction, and you accept that we may still suspend an account when our partners or the law require it. Not asking for your identity does not make illegal activity permitted.
03
Who can use it
In shortAdults who are not in a restricted country.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must not be located in, a resident of, or acting on behalf of anyone in a restricted territory, and you must not be subject to sanctions.
- Afghanistan
- Belarus
- Central African Republic
- Cuba
- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Iran
- Libya
- Myanmar
- North Korea
- Russia
- Somalia
- South Sudan
- Sudan
- Syria
- Venezuela
- Yemen
- Zimbabwe
- Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions
Using a VPN or any other method to hide that you are in a restricted territory is a breach of these terms and results in immediate closure of the account.
04
Deposits are final
In shortOnce a crypto deposit is credited, it cannot be reversed or refunded.
You fund your balance by sending a supported cryptocurrency to a deposit address we generate for you. Deposits between $5 and $15,000 are credited in USD after network confirmation, minus the deposit fee.
Blockchain transactions cannot be undone, and we do not hold the crypto you send. For those two reasons a credited deposit is not refundable. Sending the wrong coin, the wrong network, or sending to an expired address may result in permanent loss that we cannot recover.
Your balance stays available until you choose to spend it on a card, send it to a bank account, or close the account.
05
Fees and limits
In shortEvery fee is shown before you confirm. These are the current numbers.
- Crypto deposit: 5% of the amount deposited
- Card issuance: $49 per card, charged from your balance
- Loading a card: $1 per load ($10 minimum first load, $5 after)
- Bank payout: 5% of the gross amount + $5 platform service fee; the bank budget after that fee is capped at $7,500, and the bank must receive at least $100. The final quote shows exact debit, the included provider fee, and actual amount received.
- Card network: $0.30 per authorisation, 1.5% on non-USD transactions
- ATM: up to $3,000 per withdrawal, 4 withdrawals a day, $100,000 a month. ATM operators may add their own fee.
We may change fees. A change applies to future transactions only, and the new figure is shown in the dashboard before you confirm.
06
Your cards
In shortDebit Visa cards you control from the dashboard.
Each card is a Visa debit virtual card issued in your account. You may add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay, use it online and in store, and withdraw cash at ATMs with the PIN you set. You can freeze, unfreeze, top up, withdraw from and terminate a card at any time.
Merchants and ATM operators decide whether to accept a card. We are not responsible for a merchant declining, holding funds, or applying its own restrictions. A card may be blocked by the issuer for suspected fraud; where that happens we will tell you what we know and help move the remaining balance back to your account.
07
Bank payouts
In shortWe send your balance to a bank account you name. Bank details must be right.
You can send USD balance to an eligible US bank account by ACH. Timing depends on the receiving bank; most ACH payouts arrive within one to three business days.
A payout sent to the account details you entered is complete when the receiving bank accepts it. If the details were wrong we will try to recall the payment, but we cannot guarantee recovery.
08
What you may not do
In shortNo laundering, no sanctions evasion, no structuring, no acting for others.
- Use the service to disguise the origin of funds or to move money for a third party
- Split deposits, loads or payouts to stay under limits or reporting thresholds
- Open more than one account, or share access to an account
- Fund an account with proceeds of crime, or pay for anything illegal where you or the merchant are located
- Evade sanctions or the restricted-territory rules above
- Attack, scrape, reverse engineer or otherwise interfere with the platform or our partners
If we find any of this we close the account. Where the law or a partner requires it, remaining funds may be held or reported, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
09
Keeping your account safe
In shortYour login is the key to your money. Protect it.
You are responsible for everything done with your credentials. Use a unique password, turn on two-factor authentication in settings, and keep your backup codes offline. Tell us immediately through support if you think someone else has access; we can freeze cards and lock the account while we look into it.
We will never ask for your password, your 2FA codes or your card PIN.
10
Our liability
In shortWe provide the service as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses.
To the fullest extent the law allows, offcard is provided as is, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss caused by a declined transaction, a merchant hold, a network or blockchain outage, a change in cryptocurrency price between sending and confirmation, or a partner suspending service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11
Closing an account
In shortYou can leave any time. Spend or withdraw your balance first.
You can close your account from settings. Because deposits are non-refundable, move any remaining balance to a card or a bank account before you do. We may suspend or close an account without notice for breach of these terms, on instruction from a partner or authority, or if the service is withdrawn from your region.
12
Changes, law and disputes
In shortWe may update these terms. US law applies.
We can change these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, and any dispute is heard in the competent courts there.
