Bitcoin deposit basics

Bitcoin uses its own BTC network at offcard. Start by selecting BTC in the deposit flow and use the receiving address shown there. Bitcoin transfer confirmation timing depends on the network and the fee chosen by the sending wallet, so it is sensible to allow for confirmation rather than treating a broadcast transaction as spendable funds.

The offcard deposit range is $5 to $15,000. A 5% deposit fee applies once the deposit is processed into USD balance. This gives people holding BTC a clear route into a card balance without selling through their own bank account first.

Plan the amount, not just the BTC

Consider the USD value you intend to spend and the product fees before sending Bitcoin. A $300 BTC deposit incurs a $15 deposit fee, leaving $285 in the balance before card issuance or funding. Bitcoin’s exchange value can move while a transfer is confirming, so leaving room for the payment you have in mind is prudent.

When available balance arrives, card issuance is $49 one time. Loading the new card costs $1 and requires at least $10 for the first load. Later loads have a $5 minimum. The offcard Visa virtual card costs $49 to issue. Moving money from the USD balance onto the card costs $1; the first load is at least $10, later loads start at $5, and each top-up can be as high as $10,000. Card authorisations cost $0.30. Foreign-currency transactions carry a 1.5% fee.

From balance to checkout

The offcard Visa virtual card is issued instantly from the dashboard. Reveal the card number, CVV and expiry for an online merchant, or add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay for a contactless payment. Supported ATMs can use the card PIN.

For a checkout that asks for 3-D Secure, the necessary one-time code appears in the dashboard. Controls are equally direct: freeze an unused card, unfreeze it when ready, change the PIN, or move eligible funds back to available balance.

Other ways to use the balance

BTC is only one supported funding asset; the crypto page lists the others and their networks. Available USD balance can also be sent to an eligible US account by ACH. The platform service fee is 5% of the gross amount plus $5; the bank budget after that fee is capped at $7,500, and actual bank receive must be at least $25 after any applicable bank fee. The final quote shows the exact debit, each fee, and actual bank amount, with any nonzero bank fee listed separately.

For support with a transfer or card, use the help centre. Always verify a BTC address before sending because Bitcoin transactions cannot simply be recalled from the dashboard.
